Joseph Kohlmaier is an artist, teacher, designer, writer, curator and the creator of Odrathek. He founded Musarc in 2008 and acts as the collective’s creative director. He is Principal Lecturer and Head of Critical and Contextual Studies at the Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design, London Metropolitan University. Joseph is also one of the directors of
graphic design practice Polimekanos which he founded with artist/designer Stefan Kraus in 2001, and a co-founder of its associated imprint Cours de Poétique.
